Wacky Wind Monsters: Fun DIY Activity for Kids

Step 1

Create an Eyeball: Draw an eyeball on your white paper using pens or crayons. Colour it in and cut it out.

Step 2

Place the Eye: Glue your eyeball into the centre of the coloured card.

Step 3

Make a Mouth: Draw fangs on your white paper and cut them out. Draw a mouth underneath the eyeball on your coloured card and glue the fangs inside it.

Step 4

Prepare the Hair: Cut crepe paper into strips.

Step 5

Attach the Streamers: Glue the strips of crepe paper to the bottom of your coloured card, so they hang down.

Step 6

Form the Monster: Roll your cardboard into a cylinder shape, with the face of your monster facing out. Tape the two sides of the cardboard together.

Step 7

Add a Hanger: Cut your string about 10 inches long and tape it to the top, inside of your cylinder.

Step 8

Ready for Wind: Your Whimsical Wind Whirler is now ready. Hang it up in a tree and watch it dance in the wind!
