Step 1- Start the Chain

Begin with any player who says a random word out loud.

Step 2- Quick Responses

The next player immediately says the first word that comes to their mind after hearing the previous word.

Step 3- Continue the Chain

Continue around the group, with each player responding with a word associated with the one just said.

Step 4- Keep the Pace

Encourage players to respond quickly without taking too much time to think.

Step 5- No Repeats

Players should avoid repeating words that have already been used in the same round.

The Rules

Rule 1

Responses should be immediate and instinctive.

Rule 2

Words must be directly related or associated with the previous word.

Rule 3

If a player hesitates too long, repeats a word, or says a word that is not associated, they can receive a playful penalty or be ‘out’ for that round.
