What’s the Time, Mr. Wolf?

A playful and engaging game where one player, “Mr. Wolf,” interacts with others to eventually chase and tag them. Great for outdoor play and group interaction.

Equipment Needed

No equipment required

Step 1- Choose Mr. Wolf

Select one player to be 'Mr. Wolf,' who stands at one end of the play area facing away from the others

Step 2- Ask the Time

The other players stand at the opposite end and call out, “What’s the time, Mr. Wolf?”

Step 3- Mr. Wolf’s Response

Mr. Wolf responds with different times (e.g., “It’s three o'clock”), and players take that many steps towards Mr. Wolf

Step 4- The Chase

When ready, Mr. Wolf responds with "Dinner time!" turns around and chases the other players.

Step 5- Tagging

If Mr. Wolf tags a player, that player becomes the new Mr. Wolf. If no one is tagged, Mr. Wolf plays again.

Step 6- insert

The Rules

Rule 1

Mr. Wolf must not turn around until saying "Dinner time!"

Rule 2

Players must stop moving when Mr. Wolf turns around.

Rule 3

The game restarts with each new Mr. Wolf.
